Produce Audi RS1 Model – Report

According to a report of a German automotive magazine Auto Bild, sport-version of the RS1 will be called the Audi A1.
We have previously reported about how the VW and Audi modify their PQ25 platform to allow for all-wheel drive variants A1 and Polo R to be produced. But the system / Auto Bild reported that the A1 variant called quattro S1 will not fit, as reported previously, but Audi will spend the same moniker once and badges variants as RS1.

That the RS1 model is likely to show 2.0-liter TFSI, the same as the Golf GTI model, is set to about 220 PS (162 kW) – in order to beat the 211 PS (155 kW) from the Mini Cooper JCW is Audi RS1 see as a major competitor.

Distinguishing visual RS1 will be a unique body kit that will include a wider fender flares.
